Spicy Bayou Seafood Pasta Delight

Ingredients:

8 oz fettuccine pasta
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 lb crab meat, picked over for shells
1 bell pepper, diced
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions:

Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add bell pepper and onion, sauté until softened, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream and Cajun seasoning. Simmer until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
Return the shrimp to the skillet along with the crab meat. Cook until heated through, about 2 minutes.
Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet with the seafood sauce. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve garnished with chopped parsley.
