Mongolian Beef Stir-Fry with Ramen Recipe

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef
2 packets of instant ramen noodles (discard the flavor packets)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
2 teaspoons chili sauce (adjust based on spice preference)
3 green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:

Cook Ramen:

Boil the ramen noodles according to package instructions, but slightly undercook them as they will continue cooking in the stir-fry. Drain and set aside.
Cook Ground Beef:

Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned and crumbly. Drain excess grease and set the beef aside.
Stir-Fry Vegetables:

In the same skillet, add vegetable oil. Sauté the onions and bell pepper until they start to soften. Add garlic and ginger and cook for another minute until fragrant.
Prepare the Sauce:

In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, and chili sauce. Stir until the sugar is mostly dissolved.
Combine Ingredients:

Return the ground beef to the skillet. Add the cooked ramen noodles and the prepared sauce. Toss everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the noodles are heated through and have absorbed some of the sauce.
Garnish and Serve:

Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, and fresh cilantro. Serve hot.
