Oreo Ice Cream

Ingredients:

2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
15 Oreo cookies, crushed
Directions:

In a large mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Once the ice cream begins to thicken (about 10 minutes into churning), add the crushed Oreo cookies.
Continue to churn until the ice cream is fully thickened and creamy.
Transfer the ice cream to a freezer-safe container, cover, and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
Serve chilled with additional crushed Oreos on top if desired.
