CHOCOLATE BANANA OATS

Ingredients:

  • 120g rolled oats (1 1/2 cups)
  • 250ml hot milk (1 cup, use your favorite)
  • 2 medium ripe bananas
  • 2 eggs (or vegan substitute)
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder (45g)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 40g nuts (1/3 cup)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C / 360°F.
  2. Combine oats and hot milk, let soak for 10 minutes.
  3. Mash bananas, add eggs, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and soaked oats. Mix well.
  4. Fold in nuts.
  5. Pour into baking dish, bake for 40 minutes.

For the chocolate topping:

  • 75g dark chocolate (2.65 oz)
  • 40ml hot milk (3 tbsp, use your favorite)

Instructions:

  1. Melt chocolate with hot milk.
  2. Drizzle over the baked cake.
