Ingredients:
- 120g rolled oats (1 1/2 cups)
- 250ml hot milk (1 cup, use your favorite)
- 2 medium ripe bananas
- 2 eggs (or vegan substitute)
- 4 tablespoons cocoa powder (45g)
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 40g nuts (1/3 cup)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C / 360°F.
- Combine oats and hot milk, let soak for 10 minutes.
- Mash bananas, add eggs, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and soaked oats. Mix well.
- Fold in nuts.
- Pour into baking dish, bake for 40 minutes.
For the chocolate topping:
- 75g dark chocolate (2.65 oz)
- 40ml hot milk (3 tbsp, use your favorite)
Instructions:
- Melt chocolate with hot milk.
- Drizzle over the baked cake.
