Buffalo Wing Sauce

Ingredients:


1/2 cup hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
1/3 cup unsalted butter
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat.
  2. Once the butter is melted, stir in the hot sauce, white vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  3. Continue to cook the sauce over low heat, stirring occasionally, until it is heated through and well combined.
  4. Taste the buffalo wing sauce and season with salt to taste, adjusting as needed.
  5. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the buffalo wing sauce cool slightly before using.
  6. Serve the sauce with chicken wings, chicken tenders, or your favorite appetizers for dipping.
