- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
- In a microwave-safe bowl or saucepan, combine creamy peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup). Heat in the microwave or on the stovetop until melted and smooth, stirring occasionally.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, chocolate chips, chopped nuts (if using), and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.
- Pour the melted peanut butter mixture over the dry ingredients in the mixing bowl. Stir until everything is evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a parchment-lined or greased 8×8-inch baking dish. Use a spatula to press the mixture firmly and evenly into the dish.
- Refrigerate the bars for at least 2 hours, or until firm and set.
- Once chilled, use a sharp knife to cut the mixture into bars.
- Store the Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
