Ingredients :
°1 tsp olive oil
°1 onion
°1 large green bell pepper, thinly sliced
°1⁄2 pound minced fresh steak
°1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
°1⁄2 teaspoon ground garlic powder
°salt and pepper to taste
°1 to 12 packets of sweet rolls
°6 slices of provolone cheese
°1 tablespoon melted butter
°1 tsp dried thyme
Preheat oven 400 degrees F .
Directions :
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the ingredients for the garlic aioli: mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Set it aside.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil.
- Add the thinly sliced onions and green bell peppers to the skillet. Sauté them until they become soft and slightly caramelized, which should take about 5-7 minutes. Remove them from the skillet and set them aside.
- In the same skillet, add the thinly sliced ribeye steak. Season it with salt and pepper. Cook the steak for about 2-3 minutes until it’s no longer pink. You want it to be slightly crispy on the edges.
- Split the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Place a slice of provolone cheese on each bun bottom.
- Top the cheese with the cooked ribeye steak, followed by the sautéed onions and green bell peppers.
- Place another slice of provolone cheese on top of the veggies.
- Spread the prepared garlic aioli on the inside of the bun tops, then place them on top of the sliders.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through.
- Remove from the oven and serve your Philly Cheesesteak Sliders hot. Enjoy!
These sliders are a delicious twist on the classic Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, perfect for serving at parties or as a fun dinner option.
