Ingredients:
1 kg pork ribs
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon minced ginger
1 onion, diced
1 bell pepper, diced
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Directions:
In a bowl, mix together ketchup, soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger to make the sauce.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the pork ribs and cook until browned on all sides.
Add diced onion and bell pepper to the pan and sauté until softened.
Pour the sauce over the ribs and vegetables, stirring to coat evenly. Cover and let simmer for about 30-40 minutes, or until the ribs are tender.
If desired, mix cornstarch with water to make a slurry and add it to the sauce to thicken.
Serve hot over rice or noodles. Enjoy!
