Make your own cheese crackers…no carbs… so easy… and super yummy!
Cheese Crisps
Sargento Ultra Thin cheese slices (You can use any type of cheese, sliced or grated, but Sargento Ultra Thin works best.)
Note: Baking times may vary depending on the type of cheese. Provolone and mozzarella may take longer to bake than Swiss or cheddar. Watch them carefully!
Materials:
Parchment paper
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 250°F (121°C).
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Separate the cheese slices and remove any paper liners. Stack the slices evenly on top of each other and cut the stack into four pieces.
Lay the cheese pieces evenly on the parchment-lined baking sheet, ensuring they do not touch.
Bake on the middle rack of the oven for approximately 45 minutes, or until crisp. Check every 5 minutes after the initial 40 minutes, as baking times can vary.
Once baked, allow the crisps to cool.
Place the cooled crisps on a paper towel to absorb excess oil, then transfer them to a serving bowl or plate.
