Strawberry Cheesecake Lasagna

Ingredients:

For the Crust:
2 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs, divided
1 stick butter, melted
For the Filling:
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
2 (8-ounce) containers frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (16-ounce) container fresh strawberries, divided


Directions:

Prepare the Crust:
In a medium bowl, mix 2 cups graham cracker crumbs with melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 glass or porcelain dish. Chill in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.
Cheesecake Filling:

  1. In a large bowl, blend softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and 1 container of whipped topping until smooth. Spread over the chilled crust.
    Strawberry Layer:
  2. Set aside 5-6 whole strawberries for garnish. Wash, hull, and slice the remaining strawberries. Layer over the cream cheese mixture.
    Final Layers:
  3. Top with the remaining whipped topping. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
    Garnish:
  4. Before serving, garnish with whole and chopped strawberries and sprinkle with remaining graham cracker crumbs.
