Blackberry Brie Grilled Cheese with Balsamic Drizzle
A bold and cozy gourmet twist on grilled cheese—creamy brie, juicy blackberries, and tangy balsamic reduction layered between crisp, golden bread slices.
Ingredients
4 slices artisan bread (sourdough or rustic white)
6–8 oz brie cheese, sliced
1/2 cup fresh blackberries
1 tbsp balsamic glaze (store-bought or homemade)
1 tbsp butter, softened
Fresh thyme leaves (optional, for garnish)
Directions
Assemble: On two slices of bread, layer brie, blackberries (gently smashed), and a light drizzle of balsamic glaze. Top with remaining slices.
Butter & Toast: Butter the outsides of each sandwich. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
Grill: Cook sandwiches 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and brie is melted.
Serve: Slice and serve warm, garnished with extra blackberries, thyme, and a balsamic drizzle.
