Garlic Butter Steak Lightning Noodles
Ingredients:
12 oz linguine
1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Sear the steak
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tbsp butter. Add the sliced steak, season with salt and pepper, and sear until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness (2–3 minutes per side). Remove steak and set aside.
3. Make the garlic butter sauce
In the same skillet, melt the remaining 1 tbsp butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
4. Creamy finish
Reduce heat to medium. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
5. Combine
Add the cooked linguine and steak to the skillet. Toss everything together until the noodles are well-coated in the garlic butter sauce.
6. Serve
Garnish with extra Parmesan or parsley if desired. Serve hot!
