Ingredients:
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
12 oz rigatoni pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 lb steak tips, cut into bite-sized pieces
3 tablespoons butter, divided
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions:
Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the rigatoni and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain the pasta and set aside.
Sear the steak tips: While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak tips generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Sear the steak in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Make the garlic butter: In the same skillet where you cooked the steak, reduce the heat to medium and melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute, stirring frequently until fragrant.
Prepare the cream sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and sprinkle the Italian seasoning into the skillet. Stir well and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Gradually mix in the grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella, stirring continuously until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
