Ingredients:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Optional toppings like herbs, seeds, or cheese
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, and salt.
- Gradually add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough back in the mixing bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Once the dough has risen, shape it into a loaf and place it in a greased slow cooker.
- Cover the slow cooker with a lid and cook the bread on high for 2-3 hours, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
