These Banana Pudding Rice Krispie Treats are a fun combination of two popular desserts! They mix the crunchy and sticky deliciousness of Rice Krispie Treats with the smooth sweetness of banana pudding. Great for gatherings, selling baked goods, or a tasty treat after school, this recipe is simple for children to assist in preparing.

To make the Rice Krispie layer:

Amount of Ingredients

Butter without salt: 4 tablespoons

Small marshmallows 1 package (10 oz)

Rice Krispies Cereal 6 cups

To make the banana pudding layer:

Amount of Ingredients

Banana Pudding Mix – 1 package (3.4 oz)

2 cups of cold milk

1 cup of sliced bananas

Optional topping:

Cream that has been beaten until it is light and fluffy.

Butter without salt: 4 tablespoons

Small marshmallows 1 pack (10 oz)

6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal

To make the Banana Pudding Layer:

Banana Pudding Mix – 1 package (3.4 oz)

Two cups of cold milk

1 cup of sliced bananas

Optional topping:

Cream that has been beaten until it is light and fluffy.

Directions:

Prepare the Rice Krispie layer in 5 minutes.

In a big pot, melt the butter without salt over low heat.

After the chocolate is melted, put in the small marshmallows and keep stirring until they are completely melted and smooth.

Take the pan off the stove and add the Rice Krispie cereal.

Use a spatula or wax paper to mix the cereal with the marshmallow mixture until everything is well covered.

Press the layer of Rice Krispies for 2 minutes.

Put oil or butter on a baking dish that measures 9 by 13 inches.

Press the Rice Krispie mixture firmly into the pan. You can use a spatula or wax paper to spread and press down the mixture.

Allow the Rice Krispie layer to cool down and harden completely at room temperature.

Make the banana pudding layer (3 minutes):

In a bowl, mix the instant banana pudding powder with cold milk for 2 minutes until it thickens.

Carefully mix the banana slices into the pudding.

Gather and relax (2 hours):

Once the Rice Krispie layer has hardened, evenly spread the banana pudding mixture on top.

Cover the dish with a lid and put it in the fridge for at least 1 hour, or until the pudding layer becomes solid. It’s best to let it cool for 2 hours for the ideal texture.

Use and have fun!

Cut the Banana Pudding Rice Krispie Treats into square pieces before serving.

If you want, put a little bit of whipped cream on top of each square before you serve them.
