For the Filling: - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
For the Cream Cheese Icing: - 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
- Activate the Yeast:
- Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit until foamy.
- Prepare the Dough:
- Mix bananas, sugar, butter, eggs. Add yeast mixture, then flour and salt. Knead until smooth.
- First Rise:
- Let the dough rise until doubled in size.
- Make the Filling:
- Mix butter, brown sugar, cinnamon.
- Roll Out the Dough:
- Roll the dough into a rectangle.
- Fill and Roll:
- Spread filling, roll up the dough.
- Slice and Arrange:
- Cut into pieces, place in a baking dish.
- Second Rise:
- Let the rolls rise until puffed.
- Bake:
- Bake until golden brown.
- Make the Cream Cheese Icing:
- Beat cream cheese, butter, sugar, vanilla.
- Ice and Serve:
- Spread icing over warm cinnamon rolls and enjoy!
