Ingredients:
- 1 pound kielbasa sausage
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Pinch of salt
- Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the kielbasa sausage into bite-sized pieces, but not all the way through. Keep the bottom intact so they stay together.
- Mix barbecue sauce, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt in a small bowl.
- Put the sliced kielbasa in a baking dish or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the barbecue sauce mixture over the kielbasa, ensuring it gets between the slices.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the kielbasa is cooked through and has caramelized edges.
- Let it cool for a bit after taking it out of the oven.
- If you like, sprinkle chopped parsley on top before serving.
- Serve warm as an appetizer or snack.
