Ingredients:
2 cups milk
1 egg
1 egg yolk
2 tbsp corn flour
1/2 tsp orange essence
Orange food color as needed
Pulp of 3 oranges
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp orange zest
Orange jam
Whipped cream
Orange slices for garnishing
1 packet orange jelly
Directions:
In a saucepan, mix milk, egg, egg yolk, and corn flour. Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat.
Stir in orange essence and food color into the custard. Let it cool, then chill in the refrigerator.
Prepare the orange jelly according to package instructions and allow it to set completely.
In a bowl, mix orange pulp with sugar and zest. Chill in the refrigerator.
Layer the trifle starting with orange custard, followed by a layer of orange jam, chilled orange pulp mixture, set jelly, and finally, top with whipped cream and orange slices for garnishing.
Chill the trifle for at least 2 hours before serving.
